We just completed a season of rain, and as Spring approaches, we are soon to enter the "Pollen Season". Grass is growing, the flowers are budding, and the trees are abundant with new growth. Combined with all the prior rain and the upcomming heat, Southern California air is soon to reach high levels of pollen count. One of the good things coming out of this quarantine in the last 6 weeks is that our air quality has been super nice and clean, but be aware that spending too much time outdoors can trigger allergies, which is a small step away from catching seasonal colds...which is another step closer to a weakened immune system...which opens the opportunity for virus infections! Wearing your mask outdoors can reduce your exposure to pollen, so keep them handy for a little while longer.
