"We have a hands-on approach to patient care.  As patients improve, we also  begin to see them less often and utilize a strength and conditioning model for maintaining gains we get in the clinic."

The world of extreme sports (medicine)...

More and more athletes request Chiropractic care at many of the extreme sports venues.  This has brought Dr. Adrian many opportunities to travel the country to work with many events and many professional athletes needing care.

Dr. Adrian is part of the sports-medicine team that consist of Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Massage Therapists that often accompany these events.

Many athltes have indicated that the amount of risk taking they do on the course for Red Bull is made possible because of the significant presence of medical staffing at these events.

Just for fun...

One of my favorite things to do is attend conferences and symposiums on Strength and Conditioning, Fitness, and Functional Training seminars.  This one is from the annual Fitness Expo that takes place in February at the L.A. Convention Center.

Interval training...

You can do a lot in 30 minutes!  Add a session of interval training 1 day a week in order to keep your body from reaching a plateu.

Benefits of interval training include:

  • Lose weight, not muscle.

  • Maintain and build agility.

  • Build cardio-vascular stamina.

  • Burn fat hours after the activity stops

An exercise sampler...

I LOVE to do my workouts at the office, and encourage both my patients and staff to do the same.  In our activity area are numerous resistance bands, Swiss balls, balance discs, dumbells, and enough weights to do a 185# deadlift.

"Getting the most out of your training routine isn't always about having equipment.  It's about maximizing your time and your creativity with the tools you already have."
